Elexis Santa Cruz

Elexis began her yoga journey two years ago in a search to find a physical outlet in her life and instead fell in love with a practice that brought a sense of wholeness to her being. Within a few months of a dedicated daily practice she knew she wanted to complete a yoga teaching certification and in the summer of 2017 accomplished that goal. Yoga brings a sense of whole to mind, body, and spirit through a deep connection of movement, breath, and focus, drawing all the senses inward and allowing us to find kindness and gratitude for ourselves and our being. Elexis hopes to help her students find this connection in themselves.

When not on the mat Elexis spends her time finding a connection to nature through hiking and backpacking, taking advantage of the beautiful canyons that surround Cache Valley. She is also a certified dog trainer and keeps a miniature zoo of fish and reptiles.

She found the gentle and intuitive practice of yoga helped her through her grief as well as created healing and strength to begin moving forward in her life. Melissa Burch

Melissa has been in love with the yoga practice since her first class in 2006. After graduating from Bountiful High School in 2008 she moved to Logan to attend Utah State University with the intention of becoming a high school counselor. Once she received her bachelor’s degree from USU in Family, Consumer and Human Development, she decided that sharing the yoga practice with others was the perfect way to combine the two passions of yoga and therapy. She believes that an individual encompasses all the tools he/she needs to change his/her life for the better, and strives to help others see this power through her teaching.

Melissa received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance YTT certification in 2014 at Inversion yoga in Jackson Hole, WY and attributes much of her success to the instructors there as well as those here in Logan. She has practiced and several types of yoga including Yin, Ashtanga/Vinyasa, Hot/Bikram, Restorative, Kundalini and Aerial yoga and is now certified in Total Barre as well. Her classes are always fun, creative and upbeat.

Melissa enjoys traveling, camping, anything outdoors, hiking, soccer, volleyball, rock climbing and spending time with her two dogs, daughters, and mostly her amazing, supportive husband. She is excited to continue her teaching and training and will forever remain a student of yoga.

Phalecia Thompson

Hello!! My name is Phalecia Thompson and I love helping people align to their true self. Teaching is a passion of mine. I enjoy being with others and creating magical energy together.

Internal Yoga was created as I surrendered deeper and deeper into myself to process losses and personal challenges in my life. I’ve learned how to feel into the unknown spaces inside and hear the answers and wisdom that are always there for me.

I love sharing what I have learned with others . . . how to tap in, listen and receive messages from the infinite space within. My inner joy is helping others heal . . .helping others uncover and hear what they need in each moment to feel good and up level.

After 6 years of working with clients one on one I have felt this work could reach more people by expanding it into group sessions which is what I am now offering.

I’m adventurously married to my best friend Lonnie and together we have two sweet children Aiva and Lucian. What a blessing they have been to my journey of aligning to my true self.

•Owner of Phalecia’s Hair and nails salon for 16 years.

•Yoga Alliance 200 YTT 2018

•Reiki Master for 4+ years

•Owner and operator of Phalecia’s Healing sessions for 6 years

•Angel card readings for 8 years

•dōTERRA for 12 years , helping others find natural solutions to support their

Thank you for joining me in Internal yoga, where we can come together and share this powerful process and thereby make a difference.
